My favourite colour has to be pink but my POWER colour has to be red. Red is bold, vibrant and the perfect lipstick colour to uplift my look when I'm having a "living dead" day, this is especially during my 7.45am morning shifts at work, and I always feel like I can conquer the day in a bold red lip.
Colour can have an huge impact on our emotions. I know this to be true in my life because when I am greeted with a grey sky it can sometimes leave my mood a little deflated, everything looks so much better in the sunshine. On this particular day the weather was feeling indecisive, one minute the sun was shining then it was throwing shade left and right, it was windy and believe it or not later in the day it began to rain! I decided to help things out with this red ensemble.
What is your POWER colour?

I feel the same way about the color, red, it's my go-to color and always has been. I love a bold red lip, or a soft daytime red lip and it definitely cheers me up :)

I love the idea of a power colour! Even though it's not particularly bold or 'out there', mine would have to be baby blue because I feel so comfortable in it.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this outfit is perfect, by the way. So happy I just discovered your blog!
