I started this blog in 2012 in an effort to fill a creative void in my life. Blogging helped me return to nurturing a side of me that had been buried away for years in favour of focusing on my education and achieving a Bachelors degree in Pharmacology. Over the years my love for fashion, photography and writing have grown so passionately that I couldn't imagine spending my time doing anything else.
My style is an ever moving target; some days I love being girly and glam, other days theres nothing better than an oversized fit and embracing my tomboy energy - all while making space to dabble in a few trends along the way. 1. who takes your photos and what equipment do you use?
With the help of my trusty Manfrotto tripod and wireless remote I take all my photo's myself! I use a Canon EOS 700D, with a 18-55mm lens, to take 90% of my outfit pics and my mirror shots are taken with a iPhone 7. Check out my "Tech Essentials" guide.
2. wHAT APPS DO YOU USE TO EDIT?
I like to add a little grainy texture and decrease the temp on my pictures, using the VSCO app. In Facetune, I use the whitening tool to make my white background "pop" and sharpen the features in my makeup, hair and clothes using the detail tool. For the retro effect (e.g: disposable camera filter, VHS) in my IG stories I love using the filters in the Snow app.
