LAZY DAYS OF RECOVERY

Hi hunnies! Well like I mentioned in my last post I went to a wedding on Saturday that unfortunately had to leave early due to a really bad headache :( I was utterly disappointed because weddings only happen once and I had been planning and prepping for the day ever since I received the invite! Well the only thing that matters is that the bride and groom had an amazing special day and I am 100% sure they did :)

As I said I came home with a headache and I immediately fell into my bed in desperation to sleep it off. I didn't shake off the pain until around 3pm Sunday :( & to comfort me I caught up on some "reading" (lol)

I got these mags time ago but just haven't had the time to read them, so I did with a lovely cup of tea and a good breakfast :) There was also a free liquid & pencil eyeliner from Company Magazine too!

Hope you all had a good weekend too! :)

Hey hunnies, this a backdated post of some of the items I bought Late Feb/March, thought I would share!

London weather is so unpredictable and I for one am not ready to bare all just yet so I was happy when I found these polos for under £3! I think there just the right thing to wear during these deceivable "sunny" days! :)

1. Versace-esque Top, Primark
2. Nautical Striped Vest, Primark
3. Cut out shoulders Striped Shirt, Forever21
4. Black Sheer Maxi Skirt, Jane Norman
5. White Knitted Vest, H&M
6. Burgundy Polo Jumper, Primark // Brown Polo Jumper, H&M
7. Sunglasses, Primark
8. Vintage Faux Fur Handwarmer, Urban Outfitters
I love this hand warmer it doubles up as a bag on the inside and the faux fox tail is detachable!
9. Earrings, Forever21

Aztec Prints: DIY Earrings

Hi guys, I forgot to show you the revamp I did on a pair of earrings I had for ages!

I bought these earrings from Accessorize years ago and they had been looking a bit dreary of late and then one night, using my sharpie pen, I decided to jazz them up a bit. I wasn't sure how they were going to turn out but I'm very happy with the end result.
Sorry for the picture quality, they were taken with my Swagberry lol!

*Update: 16/04/12*
Heres a better picture of the earrings :)

Let me know what you think of my "new" earrings,

lots of love, Lavvy xx

Aztec Print

Base colour: Summertime L.A. Colors from BeautyBase
Trousers: H&M

I'm really liking the new craze of nail art designs, it takes an everyday manicure to another dimension.
I had a go creating an aztec/tribal look using the Black Judy nail pen by Andrea Fulterton. Its a 2 in 1 pen, with a fine nib at one end and brush at the other, to create dots, flicks and even letters! The base colour I used is a girlie vibrant pink (dead ringer for Barry M Bright Pink) that I picked up from BeautyBase in Stratford, Westfield for 99p!
Once you understand the nail pen it becomes more easier to do flicks and zig zag patterns. I'm no professional but I just went with the flow, pretty good for a first attempt!

Introducing...My MacBook Pro

YES!!! FINALLY, I HAVE A MAC!!! If you read my post "Wish Upon A Star" you would know I've wanted a new laptop for sooooo long and not just any laptop, a MacBook Pro. I can't lie I didn't think I would be getting one anytime soon, but I decided to just bite the bullet, stop all the faffing and purchase this beautiful machine. Its the best investment I have ever made. Its my new baby lol. I have totally fallen head over heels for my MacBook and unlike my last laptop (R.I.P Acer laptop) no one can, has or will touch my laptop....no I'm serious...I still pack it away in its box when I am finished. -__-

Lol...

Anyways, I've always heard you can't go wrong with a Mac and whoever said it was not wrong! I'm still getting used to the setup but I am already 100% sold. Sorry for the lack of posts, I tried my best to blog but my Acer would not co-operate :( but expect to see a lot more action on my blog, plus some backdated posts that I was unable to put up due to laptop issues which I firmly believe are finally resolved thanks to my new MacBook Pro... see wish lists do come true :)

lots of love, Lavvy xx
