I don't remember how I came to know about her blog, but since they day I clicked on this fashionistas page I have been hooked. The model/designer/stylist always gets it right! Her style is eclectic, a mix of casual cool, festival grunge/rock & effortlessly tailored & classy.
I check her blog DAILY and I am never disappointed!

BEAUTY TREATS!

An overdue post for you hunnies! Treated myself to a few items last month and thought I would share some of them with you!
MUA MAKEUP
My love for MUA products started when I was looking for an inexpensive red lipstick, I wasnt sure lipstick let alone red lipstick would suit me so when I saw MUA shade 1 red lipstick was only a pound I just had to get it! Now it seems I can't get enough of MUA!

I purchased their face primer for £4 and eye primer £2.50! Both products are incredibly light to put on and the perfect settings for my makeup to be applied on.

The MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner in Royal Blue is my absolute favourite! The colour is heavily pigmented and makes my eyes stand out, especially when I have done a smokey eye w/ dramatic lashes! I love it! I get a lot of compliments because of this eyeliner and its definitely one I will be buying again!

I also bought two new ranges from MUA lipsticks, 1. Lipstick shade 16 Nectar and 2. Lip BOOM in shade 1.
I really like lip boom, created with Alexander Burke, a dual matte lipstick/gloss with a 4 in 1 look for your lips. I love the shade because its like my natural lip colour with a bit more nude pigment and with the gloss on top gives my lips a fuller and glossy look, at £3 its a winner.
Shade 16 is pretty but you have to apply more than one coat to actually see any colour which at times can cause a look of "too much" product on your lips, but it is nice when teamed with a natural make up look.

PRIMARK DOES LIPSTICK....?!!!??
Well they sell everything else on the high street are you surprised their selling make up too? NO? Me neither....LOL no I lie I was pleasantly surprised to see them on my way to counter...sneaky place to put them for shopaholics like me!...they were only ONE POUND EACH so I just had too! ^_^
However, they are not very easy to apply. *groan* I have to rub them with some force and consistency to get a good amount on my lips. Fantastic once on but some work to make that happen and a bargain at £1 so how can I complain!

SWATCHES L-R:
1. Sleek Pout Paint in 154 Mauve Over
2 &3 Primark in Berry and Red
4. Natural Collection Moisture Shine in Pink Mallow
5. Natural Collection Moisture Shine in Rose Petal
6. MUA Lipstick in Shade 16 Nectar

FACE PRODUCTS
I always seem to get it wrong with facial moisturisers, I have combination skin and sometimes picking the right moisturiser can be tricky. Too greasy, to heavy, too light....long lol! But I definitely think I am on to a good thing with Simple's Moisturising cream with built in SPF 10 factor. A little amount goes along way with this product and my skin is left feeling light, moisturised and smooth.

The rescue oil is similar to bio oil, difference being the price! I apply a lil under my eyes after washing my face and before applying my moisturiser to help loosen the tightness under my eyes after cleansing. I especially use it at night to help repair the skin under my eyes as I sleep.

If you have used any of these products let me know how you got on! Love to know your opinions too!

Hope this has been interesting ^_^

P.S: Hope you guys like the new look of my blog, I did it all by myself lol well chuffed!
