Happy Monday guys! So excited to let you know my first IGTV video is out now! 

One of my goals this month was to film a sit down video for Youtube, in the end I thought why not upload this to IGTV! Its a platform on Instagram that I haven't utilised as much as I should be and guess its great practice before jumping on Youtube! 😆

It was definitely an experience, filming and editing is a big job I very much underestimated all the time put into it! Also listening back to your own voice is really weird!  But I DID IT! Super nervous to put it out but I'd love you guys to check it out below and let me know what you think! 🤗💘

Dior Forever Foundation and My Forever Story

MY FOREVER STORY

#AD I am beyond thrilled to be partnering with @diormakeup to share with you my 'Forever Story'. 4 years ago a friend was selling a DSLR camera, at the time I had been shooting content with an amateur mobile phone and webcam. I had just started a new job with not much savings but I took a risk and bought it. Today that camera is still going strong and I'm forever thankful to my past self for being my biggest cheerleader, believing I was worth the investment. I'm so proud of myself for all that I have achieved and every opportunity has been captured by that camera, including this partnership with Dior! To be asked to take part really is a dream come true! I've always had to mix foundations to really get the right shade but Forever in shade 4W glow really is my perfect match! Hello my loves, I have been so excited to share this collaboration with you guys because I have such a genuine love for this luxury brand for as long as I can remember. I've always played with Dior's make up line at local counters, spending hours testing shades, playing with their gorgeous eyeshadow palettes and spritzing parfum; J'adore and Hypnotic Poison are my all time favourites.   

I cannot even believe that Dior reached out to partner up with me to share my "Forever Story" read above! for the launch of their new Dior Forever Foundation.

Its such a huge honour to try out this foundation, I have the shade 4W Warm and it blends with my skin tone perfectly. My usual experience with foundation involves me having to mix two shades to match my yellow undertones, but with 4W Warm there is no need. I've really fallen for it, its like your skin but better and completely weightless yet provides flawless coverage with a illuminating matte finish. Its extremely long lasting, so the perfect choice to take me from day to night. I'm so chuffed to have this in my makeup collection! And can I add super proud of myself for these pictures I took myself, sometimes I can get overwhelmed with not having access to additional support and then I surprise myself when I really come through with the skills lol. I am encouraged.

Trend Talk: Bucket Hats

Have you ever seen a trend and thought "I wonder if I could pull that off?" 

The 90s style trend has come back with vengeance and firmly caught my attention. I first spotted them on festivalgoers, last summer; from Coachella, Wireless to Reading & Leads Festival they were everywhere! I decided it was time to bite the bullet and as soon as I bought one it was super hard not to keep adding to the collection.

hello angels! The weather doesn't know what it wants to be: cloudy, sunny, windy, rainy. The UK is experiencing every weather emotion there is at least once a week! 

If your like me, you've already begun to take all your spring/summer gear out of storage hoping to stunt in what should be warm weather. I guess were too early for the weather Gods! A Few Of My Favourite Things.

I noticed the other day that I've been building quite a collection of gold jewellery and fun accessories, so I thought I would share my favourites with you and link pieces where I can. 

ACCESSORIES

I received this Oliver Bonas bracelet as a gift from the Wingfield PR team as a goodbye present at the end of my internship. I've not worn a bangle in years, but this piece is so light that I sometimes forget I have it on, until I'm complimented on it. Such a sweet gift. 

Gold bobby pins are the most inexpensive way of jazzing up your hairstyles and subtly taking part in the hair clip craze that seems to have taken over Instagram. 'Teen me' is also screaming that scrunchies have come back as a thing. I struggled to make any accessory work in my hair. The struggle was most definitely real. We thank God for hair extensions, Youtube tutorials and developed knowledge of how to handle my own hair...yes 'Teen me', it gets better 🙏🏽.

EARRINGS

I've turned into quite the Magpie when it comes to gold earrings, they're just so shiny and beautiful. You cant help but feel like your Sade in pair of gold hoops and these statement shell drop earrings make me feel like I've got my life all the way together; so chic, so luxe.

NECKLACES

If you remember my posts from back in the day, you will remember that I was obsessed with chunky statement necklaces. The bigger the better, I wanted everyone to see I was wearing a necklace. Back then dainty chains did not appeal to me and it frustrated me how they would get lost behind your tops neckline and become a tangled mess. Now I can't think of anything better than layering gold chains with varying lengths - that look becomes a statement in itself. 

RINGS & DIY

I love the look of stacked rings and I've been looking for a signet ring for a while, but they always seem so big. So while rooting around my old jewellery stash I came across an ASOS ring from many years ago and inspiration struck! I took my black nail varnish and painted the stone. Voila!

The chunkier "rings" that you see are actually cuff earrings that I've repurposed. I was inspired by jewellery brand Wolf Circus, who sell these beautiful solid, thick gold signet rings that are just ugghhh!

Sometimes its handy to take a look at the items you already have and consider if you could give it a new leese of life before spending money on something new.

The pinky ring is actually my baby ring. Never fit me then, doesn't fit me now lol but I like stubbornly stuffing it onto my pinky finger. On my more sensible days, I put it on a chain.LOL
